We distribute the BEI harvester and have humbly helped in its final design. The machine harvests at speeds of up to 5 MPH which allows it to cover an acre or more an hour. This can reduce labor costs dramatically and our harvester can be setup to prune at the same time.
The key concepts behind our mechanical Jatropha harvester are isolating each plant, shaking off only the fully ripened fruit and channeling the harvested Jatropha seed pods back to a collector. The current model is the MJH-3x which is our third generation and has undergone consistent testing for reliability and usability.
