Historically, kenaf and camelina seed supply for small acreage farming in Florida has not been a problem, and our company has made purchases in and out of the United States to meet the demand. With both crops eligible for the USDA Bio Mass Crop Assistance Program, and camelina oils in demand from our military and private sector growing everyday, it is necessary for Florida farmers to have their own supply of these seeds. With over 10,000 acres in the ground by the first of 2011 and untold future acreage in our state, we need a dedicated seed supply of reliable stock within the shortest transportation radius possible.
Harvesting seed, and providing clean & bagged stock to farmers all over the state is a specialized operation. We work with different partners State wide to provide harvest, cleaning and bagingg of the seed.
