The cooperative model has been used successfully in agriculture for over a century. We have found the marketing cooperative to be of particular benefit to us here in Florida.
This structure lets newer farmers have a risk free environment to farm these crops, and assists with everything from off take and transportation, to crop insurance and government subsidy programs.
More like a large family than a complicated corporate structure, our cooperative is run by native farmers who believe in God, family and a farmer’s inherent ability to adapt. We have successfully brought a large group of landowners together with the same goals and shared belief that this country needs an immediate and farm based solution to the current fossil fuel and foreign oil crisis.
Our Cooperative provides its members with agronomy help, seeds, marketing assistance and direct off take for their crops.
