USCJO grows and harvests biomass wood chips harvested from citrus hardwood and produced to the following specs: Less than 4 inches and 4 percent fines with 25 to 35 percent moisture; burn certificate is available. We can produce different specs, please contact us with your requirements.
Estimated available product levels: 25 tons per month.
We also offer Kenaf as an additional woody biomass that can be used for power generation and can be delivered in round rolls or pellets after January 2012.
USCJO also offers Camelina seed for sale and export. Camelina is a mustard family cover crop which produces high grade feedstock oil. It is grown in cooler climates and sometimes as Winter wheat, drilled in the Fall and harvested in the Spring.
Camelina makes an excellent aviation fuel and currently is the only commercially grown feedstock being used in the military drop-in fuel test programs and commercial airline bio jet fuel tests. Feedstock oil from Camelina sells to several different types of end users within the biofuel industry. Please contact us for your specific needs.
