USCJO's renewable feedstock farming operation has grown from just 1500 acres only two years ago, into a 7500 acre plus operation managing feedstock farms from the Florida panhandle to the Everglades.
We have over 200 tons of crushing capacity either in operation or under construction, with 50 tons of additional portable crushing for farms in other parts of the state. Oil seed crushing services are available statewide for soybeans, canola and camelina.
We are also set up for cubing and pelletizing on a fixed site or mobile basis. We clear thousands of acres of dead citrus and, blended with our kenaf harvest, use the cuber and pelletizer to densify the chips for transportation to biomass facilities.
In addition we are setup to herbicide, disk, level and drill all our crops on thousands of acres in the tight time frame it takes to maintain a 12 month rotation. We invite other farmers to take advantage of our equipment reserves, knowledge base and fast pace to convert dead groves, improved pasture or fallow fields to these new crops.
With a large fleet of on-road trucks and heavy land prep and clearing equipment, we are always ready for a challenge and can think “outside the box” for large acreage clearing and farming service work. This type of experience and setup will be required for large commercial operations related to large facilities, our military and airlines. |
